Early access guide · Updated 5 October 2026
01

Before you start

Gostrax is in early access and built exclusively for Astro websites. You need access to a Gostrax workspace. To import an existing site, you also need a GitHub account with access to the Astro repository.

  1. Request an invitation through Early Access if you do not have workspace access.
  2. Choose one Astro site to start with.
  3. Have your client create and verify their account before configuring their access.
02

Bring your site into Gostrax

Open New project from the workspace and choose Import from GitHub. Connect the Gostrax GitHub App if needed, select the repository and branch, and complete the import.

03

Get to know the agency workspace

The imported project opens in Overview. Use the project navigation to move between your tools.

  1. Overview: project details, recorded activity and available usage information.
  2. Build: project conversation and website preview.
  3. Files: browse source; enable expert mode for direct editing.
  4. Library: inspect project media and source references.
  5. Clients: configure access and the publication workflow.
04

Configure your client’s space

In Clients, use the verified account email to configure client access. Choose the permissions appropriate to the project, then use Preview client dashboard to inspect the experience before handing it over.

  1. Keep client access separate from agency team membership.
  2. Enable only the content tools your client needs.
  3. Select approved pages before enabling text editing.
  4. Keep publication disabled until the project is configured for it.
05

Work through one content update

Have the client describe the request in their conversation. With the appropriate permissions, they can prepare a content draft and submit it for agency review. Review the draft before considering publication.
